Terms of Service
Plain terms for schools, teachers, students, parents and research partners using ARASH.

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using ARASH, you agree to these terms. Where a school has signed a separate agreement, that agreement prevails for its users.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Student accounts are provisioned or approved by a school. Users must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. Accounts may not be shared.
3. Acceptable use
Do not upload content that is unlawful, harassing or unrelated to language learning; do not attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape data, or reverse engineer the assessment engines.
4. AI-generated scores and feedback
Scores and feedback are automated estimates intended to support teaching. They are not certified language qualifications. Teachers may override any score, and schools remain responsible for formal grading decisions.
5. Content ownership
Students and schools retain ownership of submitted recordings and written content. You grant us the limited licence needed to process that content to deliver the service, within the consent scope granted.
6. Availability
We target high availability on the learning path and may degrade optional AI depth during provider incidents rather than fail a session. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
7. Fees
Pilot use is free within the stated limits. Paid plans are billed per the school or district agreement. Fees exclude applicable taxes.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or endanger platform security. Schools may terminate at the end of an agreement term; data is exported or deleted per the privacy notice.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will notify account administrators of material changes. Questions: support@arash.example.
